Ashish Bashyal, President and Conservation Biologist at Biodiversity Conservancy Nepal, was awarded with conservation grant from the Nagao Natural Environment Foundation of Japan to study population and habitat ecology of the critically endangered Gharial (Gavialis gangeticus) populations in the Karnali and Babai river systems of the Bardia National Park.
